At the Doon School of Modern Agriculture & Forestry, it is believed that the future of food, forests, and farming belongs to those who can think like scientists, lead like entrepreneurs, and act like stewards of the earth. Nestled in Dehradun — the education capital and forest science hub of India — the school serves as a living laboratory where ICAR-aligned academic rigour meets real farmland, cutting-edge technology, and a spirit of fearless innovation.
While most agricultural programmes teach students to understand farming, this institution trains them to transform it. Here, a student does not merely read about precision agriculture — they pilot drones over dedicated farmland, interpret AI-driven crop diagnostics with tools like Farmonaut and Plantix, and build business models for the agribusiness of tomorrow.
