Doon Business School
- Undergraduate
Early Admission Process (For students appearing for class XII and awaiting results)
Students upon registration are evaluated on the basis of their academic performance in class X, XI and their performance in the DBS Global University Entrance Examination and online interview. Those who score above the threshold aggregate in (X,XI,test & Interview) will be offered a seat subject to meeting the qualifying criteria of the university in Class XII (which will be mentioned in the Offer Letter). Applicable till 1st June, 2025 or XII result declaration whichever is early.
In case a student applies for early decision and is unable to cross the required threshold he/she will be considered for regular decision subsequently. Students should send their class XII marks mentioning their DBS Application no. on registrar@dgu.ac.in within 15 days of receiving the board results.
Regular Admission Process (After declaration of XII result):
Admission to the BBA program is on the merit of Academic records and Online Interview.
- Applicants appearing in their class 12 examinations through any of the Boards affiliated to the Council of Boards of School Education should have a minimum 80% average marks in 04 core subjects or CUET (UG) Percentile 60 and above will be exempted from online interviews.
- Applicants whose average marks is less than 80% in 04 core subjects or CUET (UG) Percentile below 60 will need to appear for an online interview for the screening.
Admission to the B.Com program is on the merit of Academic records and Online Interview.
- Applicants appearing in their class 12 examinations through any of the Boards affiliated to the Council of Boards of School Education should have a minimum 75% average marks in 04 core subjects or CUET (UG) Percentile 60 and above will be exempted from online interviews.
- Applicants whose average marks is less than 75% in 04 core subjects or CUET (UG) Percentile below 60 will need to appear for an online interview for the screening.
- Postgraduate
For MBA Program
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with a percentage of 50% or more / an equivalent grade. Final-year undergraduate students can apply. For Business Analytics and Digital Transformation, applicants with BTech/BCA/MCA/BSc/BSc (Economics) or any other degree from a recognized institution with computer science / mathematics/ statistics as one of the electives will be preferred.
- The applicant is required to have a score of one of the following entrance examinations: CAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ XAT/GRE or DBS Global University Entrance Examination.
- Admissions in the MBA programs are on the basis of merit of MAT/CAT /CMAT/ XAT/GMAT or DBS Global University Entrance Examination scores, 10th, 12th & graduation marks and online interview of the shortlisted candidates. The basis of weightage as under:
Class XII & Graduation % - 30%
MAT/CAT /CMAT/ XAT/GMAT or DBS Global University Entrance Examination
(Normalised internally) - 40%
Online Interview - 30%.

Direct Admissions - Applicants appearing in their class 12 examinations through any of the Boards affiliated to the Council of Boards of School Education should have a minimum 85% average marks in 04 Subjects i.e Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and 01 Core Subject or JEE Percentile 50 with minimum 50% average marks in 04 Subjects i.e Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and 01 Core Subject and above will be exempted from online interviews.
Applicants whose average marks is less than 85% in 4 Subjects i.e Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and 01 Core Subject or JEE percentile below 50 will need to appear for DBS Global University (DGU AT- Online Test) for the screening.
Specialization / Courses shall be offered on the basis of first come first basis of date of submission of admission fees. In case of delay beyond the stipulated date the student will be put on a rolling admission category and seat/ specialization will be confirmed next in waiting.
Confirmation to the rolling seat will be subject to availability of seat and pipeline of current admission offers on the date of receipt of conditional admission fees.
Note for UG program:
A merit list would be drawn up based on the number of students opting for the program and a cutoff would be developed based on the number of seats. Only those students who make it to the merit list, based on class XII result & interview scores, of a particular course, may be offered a seat in the program. As the seats are limited, the university reserves the right to offer the seat to the next eligible candidate, in case the student fails to reserve his/ her seat.
- Postgraduate
For M.Tech
Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech CSE , with a percentage of 60% or more / an equivalent grade. Final-year undergraduate students can apply. Applicants need to appear for the GATE / CUET (PG) or DBS Global University Entrance Examination and online interview.
- Lateral Entry
Eligibility and Admission Process:
DIRECT ADMISSION TO FULL TIME B.TECH. PROGRAMME THROUGH LATERAL ENTRY (2nd Year)
Admissions in second year (3rd semester) of B.Tech. Programmes in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
- ELIGIBILITY
The candidates should have passed:
Passed Minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology.
OR
Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
Candidates likely to pass the above said qualifying examinations by July/Aug 2024 are also eligible to apply. However, they must produce the qualifying certificates before 30th September 2025 for regularizing admissions. - SELECTION PROCESS
The admission will be purely on merit of online interview, determined by:
(a) Marks obtained in relevant examination as per eligibility criterion.
(b) Candidates are required to visit the university website www.dgu.ac regularly for updates. - BRIDGE COURSES
Selected students may have to take additional essential core course(s) of the branch in which they are admitted in addition to regular courses of the 2nd year, if necessary. The Bridge Course(s) shall be decided by the concerned department in respect of each candidate. - APPLICATION FORMS

- Admissions in the LLM programs are on the basis of merit of CLAT/ AILET/ SAT/ CUET or DBS Global University Entrance Examination. scores, 10th, 12th & graduation marks and online interview of the shortlisted candidates.
Note: DBS Global University Entrance Examination is an online writing test which is conducted at the time of online interview.
