Three B.Tech students of DBS Global University — Sankalp Jaiswal, Anirudh Jakhotia and Shaurya Singh — have been selected for IEEE Summer of Code 2026, a national-level open-source programme that provides participants with opportunities to contribute to open-source projects and strengthen their development capabilities.

Sankalp Jaiswal and Shaurya Singh are currently in their second year of B.Tech, while Anirudh Jakhotia is a third-year student.

Their selection marks an important achievement for the students and reflects DGU's emphasis on experiential and technology-led learning beyond the classroom. Through participation in open-source ecosystems, students gain exposure to collaborative software development, problem-solving, project-based learning and developer communities.

The achievement also reinforces the University's approach to B.Tech education, where students are encouraged not only to understand technology but also to build, experiment, collaborate and apply their knowledge to real-world challenges.

DBS Global University congratulates Sankalp, Anirudh and Shaurya on their selection and wishes them an enriching journey through IEEE Summer of Code 2026.
