The University successfully conducted a two-day experiential learning session, The Edge: Dining Etiquette & Professional Presence, on 8th and 9th May 2026 at the New Boys Mess campus venue. The session was led by renowned Corporate Trainer, Ms Neeraja Sisodia, who guided students through the finer aspects of professional dining behaviour, social etiquette, and executive presence.
The workshop was designed to help students understand the importance of etiquette in professional and corporate environments. Through practical demonstrations and interactive activities, students learned how confidence, communication, and table manners contribute significantly to creating a strong first impression.
A major highlight of the event was the complete formal dining setup arranged during the session. Students were introduced to the correct placement and usage of plates, forks, spoons, glasses, napkins, and other dining essentials commonly used in formal corporate and business settings. Ms Sisodia demonstrated dining protocols step by step, helping students gain practical exposure to fine dining etiquette and professional conduct expected during corporate meetings, networking dinners, and formal events.
The interactive nature of the workshop encouraged students to actively participate, ask questions, and practice the etiquette in real time. Beyond dining manners, the session also focused on body language, posture, professional behaviour, and personal presentation, helping students develop greater confidence for future professional interactions.
