Students of the School of Advanced Computing (SOAC) have earned international recognition with the acceptance of their research paper titled "AI-Enabled Automated Video Shorts Creation: A Design and Performance Analysis Framework" at IJCACI 2026, an international conference whose proceedings will be published in Scopus-indexed Springer Proceedings.

The research paper has been authored by second-year students Abhi Balyan, Sachin, and Aditya Kiswal, showcasing the growing research culture and innovation-driven learning environment at the University.

The study explores the application of Artificial Intelligence in automating the creation of short-form video content, presenting a comprehensive framework for design, implementation, and performance evaluation. As AI continues to transform digital content creation, the research offers valuable insights into how intelligent systems can streamline and enhance the production of video shorts across various platforms.

The paper has been accepted by the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Computing and Innovation (IJCACI 2026), hosted by Washington University of Science and Technology, USA, marking a significant achievement for the student researchers at an early stage of their academic journey.

The research was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Merry K. P., whose mentorship played a key role in shaping the project and supporting the students throughout the research process.

This achievement reflects the University's commitment to fostering research excellence, innovation, and global academic engagement among its students. It also highlights the university's focus on providing opportunities for young scholars to contribute to emerging fields of technology and gain recognition on international academic platforms.

The university congratulates Abhi Balyan, Sachin, Aditya Kiswal, and Prof. Merry K. P. on this remarkable accomplishment and wishes them continued success in their future research endeavours.
