The celebration of Human Rights Day on 10th December 2025 was organized under the theme “Celebrating Humanity: Protecting Rights, Protecting Peace.” The event aimed to reinforce the importance of human dignity, equality, and justice in contemporary society.

The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of Justice Rajesh Tandon, former Member of the Uttarakhand Human Rights Commission and Chairman of the Arbitration and Mediation Centre, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he highlighted the evolving nature of human rights and the crucial role of young legal minds in upholding constitutional values and ensuring access to justice.

A key highlight of the celebration was the speech competition organized for law students, where participants eloquently expressed their views on various human rights issues. The competition provided a platform for students to engage critically with contemporary challenges and demonstrate their understanding of rights-based discourse.
