DBS Global University (DGU), Dehradun, organised an industry interaction titled "From Campus to Global Careers: Building Skills, Confidence and International Opportunities"F, providing students with practical insights into emerging careers, global opportunities, technology, entrepreneurship and professional development. Aligned with the University's positioning as India's Leading AI University, the session focused on preparing students for a rapidly evolving employment landscape where Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, AI & Machine Learning, digital skills, entrepreneurship and industry readiness are becoming increasingly important. The interaction featured Mr. Kunal Chawla, Software Engineer Consultant at Volvo Trucks Sweden, Co-Founder of Hireniox AI and Venture Scout at LvlUp Ventures; Mr. Tushar Sharma, Data Scientist at Western Digital and an AI/ML & Data Engineering professional; and Mr. Rahul Sharma, IIM Ahmedabad alumnus, VP–Marketing at Apps for Bharat, entrepreneur and brand strategist. Drawing from their professional journeys, the speakers discussed the skills students need to build successful careers in India and international markets.

The conversations covered AI and technology careers, data science, professional networking, entrepreneurship, personal branding, communication skills, career planning and adapting to changing industry requirements. Students also gained insights into the importance of developing a combination of technical skills and soft skills, building confidence, gaining practical exposure and remaining adaptable as new technologies reshape workplaces across the world.
