Dr. Manpreet Kaur is a dedicated legal academician currently serving as an Assistant Professor at School of Law, DBS Global University, Dehradun. With a strong foundation in law and a passion for integrating technology and legal education, she brings a decade of diverse academic experience and research expertise of 7 years to her teaching and institutional responsibilities.

She holds a Ph.D. in Law from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, where her doctoral thesis focused on Artificial Intelligence in India: A Critical Study of Emerging Legal Framework for Its Use, Control, and Regulation. She is also a UGC-NET qualified scholar and earned her LL.M. in Business Law from RGNUL with distinction.

Previously, Dr. Kaur held teaching positions at Symbiosis Law School, Noida, SRM University Delhi-NCR, Amity University Noida, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Pune Lavasa, and GD Goenka University Gurugram. Her research interests span AI and Law, Technology Regulation, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property, Arbitration, and Family Law. She has contributed to academic literature through several impactful publications. Ms. Kaur has presented her work at prominent national and international conferences, including ICAIH 2024 (University of Aizu & OP Jindal Global University), Law Mantra, and conferences on AI and digital technologies.

She continues to actively contribute to the field through research, curriculum development, and academic leadership, with a strong emphasis on aligning legal education with emerging technologies and real-world governance challenges
