DBS Global University, Dehradun, organised a major Blood Donation Drive on 23 September 2026, witnessing enthusiastic participation from more than 250 donors and reinforcing the University's continued commitment to social responsibility and responsible citizenship. The initiative was organised by the Social Welfare Club and NSS with support from organisations including Rotary Club, Veera Foundation, Doon Hospital & City Blood Bank and IMA Blood Bank. The programme was held in the gracious presence of Shri Subodh Uniyal Ji, Hon'ble Cabinet Minister, Government of Uttarakhand. The blood donation initiative reflected DBS Global University's belief that higher education should prepare students not only for professional careers but also for meaningful participation in society.
