Trip to Nainital

Doon Business School organized a trip for the students of MBA to Nainital- the queen of the hills. The purpose of the trip was to explore and learn beyond the confines of the classroom, visit prominent industries in the area and beat the summer heat. Held from the 8th to 11th April, mesmerizing view and lovely weather greeted the students on the first day, which was spent entirely in sightseeing.

Over the next two days, students got on to some serious business, as the team moved to Rudrapur where industrial visits were scheduled at TATA Motors and PARLE. Here students learnt about the Production functions, HR roles and responsibilities and also about the Departmentalization and functional hierarchies in the two organizations.
